Dispatcher - Green Lake, WI
- Position: Full-Time
- Terminal: Corporate Headquarters - Green Lake, WI
- Shifts Available: Day Shift, Monday - Friday; some evening and weekend work required
- Description: The FLASH Dispatch office operates 24-7-365, and is the centralized hub for all FLASH terminals. Dispatchers must work together to organize drivers and equipment, manage customer orders, and dispatch loads. FLASH Dispatch operates via a satellite tracking and communication system, making computer skills a vital part of the job. Though each Dispatcher has his/her core set of drivers and locations to manage, communication amongst all Dispatchers is extremely important to the operation's success. FLASH strives to offer superior customer service, and requires all employees to carry out that mission. Candidates with logistics experience and a strong geographical knowledge base are highly encouraged to apply. The position requires Dispatchers to multi-task and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Dispatch has a close-working relationship with the Maintenance department, to ensure equipment needs are met. Position requires a rotation of answering evening and weekend phone calls.
